Client Needs: The BHP Jansen project is expected to be the world’s largest potash mine, producing more than 8 million tons of marketable potash annually with an expected 70-year mine life.

TMG Provided:

Project Engineering and detail engineering support on the green-field process plant facilities which included the trade-off between four (4) 2 Mtpa process plants in parallel, two (2) 4 Mtpa process plants in parallel or one (1) larger 8 Mtpa facility. Provided key input into the plant layout and design optimizations while leading discussions with multiple disciplines.
